What exactly is a hermorrhoid and what are the symptoms?
I’m asking because I’ve never had one, but I’m pregnant now and I’m afraid I might. Sorry in advance for this, but I took a crap last night and my butt itched and burned so bad I had trouble falling asleep. Today it still hurts a little. I wasn’t constipated and it wasn’t a big crap so I am afraid it might be a hemorrhoid.
Hemorrhoids are enlarged, painful veins in the rectum.
The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bright red blood covering the stool, on toilet paper, or in the toilet bowl ,an internal hemorrhoid may protrude through the anus outside the body, becoming irritated and painful. Symptoms of external hemorrhoids may include painful swelling or a hard lump around the anus that results when a blood clot forms Pregnancy makes you more prone to hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids can be treated easily but as soon as possible or it tends to get worse over the years.
Buy regular Annusol ointment or suppository over the counter for itching relief and healing.
The best way to prevent hemorrhoids is to keep stools soft so they pass easily by eating lots of veggies and drinking enough water. Disclaimer : I am not a doctor and I am a Guy so hopefully you don’t mind my advise. Anyway a Consultation with a doctor about hemorrhoids is always a good idea.
Congratulations on being pregnant.
